Managing company members
MCMs are the managers of TSC. MCMs have organization responsibilities and contribute to the larger growth of TSC outside of supporting productions. Positions include: Education Director, Technical Director, Marketing Director, Events Director, Development Director, and General Director.
To apply, you must meet the following criteria:
At least one year of ACM membership or participation in a minimum of two TSC productions/events.
Attend at least one company meeting a year.
Sponsorship from at least two current TSC Board Members
Proposal for a project they would oversee in their chosen MCM role.
The proposal should not exceed three pages.
The proposal should include a budget.
The proposal should be directly related to the MCM role and supportive of TSC’s mission.
If MCMs choose, they are welcome to audition for shows, receive preferential casting, and would be subject to all the same benefits and requirements as ACMs. ACMs would be eligible to advance to MCMs after one year of membership, based on position availability and leadership review.
If accepted, MCMs are required to:
Partner with the board, directors, and producers as needed throughout the season to drive the success of their role.
Ex: The marketing director would work with the producers of the season’s shows on a social media and marketing calendar for promotion.
Report to the board on activities, costs, trends, etc and offer new ways of driving TSC forward.
Participate in grant writing or fundraising relevant to their role.
Ex: The Education Director would help design the curriculum to submit for an education grant.
Advise on prospective new MCMs or ACMs, and sponsor new members.
Sponsorship entails vouching for an artist's personal and professional integrity when recommending them for leadership.
Associate company members
ACMs are the main talent body of TSC. ACMs make up the core group from which we would pull for our casting and design needs.
ACMs receive preferential casting (audition still required), or designer work (with director and board approval) and are considered first for all paid positions such as camps, workshops, special events, etc.
To apply, you must meet the following criteria:
Sponsorship from at least two current TSC members
A resume
If accepted, ACMs are required to:
Assist with at least one production or event per season. This may include FOH, backstage work, load in/load out help, event setup/teardown, educational workshops, etc.
Assist with promotion for all TSC events through social media or postering.
Attend at least one company meeting per calendar year.
