Meet Our Board

Alex Isaak
Secretary

Alex Isaak is a two-time Emmy Award winning producer and marketing strategist with a passion for theatre. After working for four years as a weekday evening newscast producer at KOTV - NewsOn6, she pivoted careers and now works in digital marketing at her alma mater, The University of Tulsa. She is an avid director, playwright and performer in Tulsa’s theatre scene. She's also a frequent contributor at The Pickup.

Rachel Steed
Vice President

Rachel Steed is an accomplished theatre professional with over 20 years of experience. She has worked both onstage and backstage with The Baron’s Men and Hidden Room Theatre companies. Rachel served as the Artistic Director for Last Act Theatre Company (2017-2024). She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Theatre from Wayland Baptist University and is an alumnae member of Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Fraternity.

Ibrahim Buyckes
President

Ibrahim Buyckes is a Tulsa native. He holds a Bachelors Degree in English from Northeastern State University. He discovered his passion for theatre after studying and attending plays at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Since joining the Tulsa theater community, Ibrahim has appeared in Terminus, The Shawshank Redemption, and the TATE-award winning production of August Wilson's Jitney.

Brock England
Artistic Director

Brock England began performing professionally more than two decades ago and has been concentrating on early modern and classical theater since 2008. He has trained under notables such as Ben Crystal, Farah Cooper and Beth Burns, and performed as a featured guest at the American Shakespeare Center's biannual Blackfriars Conference at Mary Baldwin University.

Angel Ruiz
Treasurer

Angel Ruiz serves as the Board Treasurer for the Tulsa Shakespeare Company, drawing on more than 15 years of operational management and technical production expertise to ensure the organization's fiscal health and sustainable growth. Blending a deep passion for local theatre with rigorous administrative stewardship, Angel is dedicated to keeping live performance vibrant, structured, and accessible across the Tulsa community.
