by William Shakespeare
Directed by Brock England
October 18, 19, 25, & 26, 2026

Othello is Shakespeare's timeless exploration of jealousy, manipulation, deception, and race. The story follows Othello, a black military general, as he is deceived by his ensign Iago into believing his wife Desdemona has been unfaithful to him. Iago, angry at being passed over for promotion, manipulates Othello with false stories of Desdemona's infidelity, leading to a dramatic final confrontation and conclusion. The recent Broadway production with Denzel Washington in the lead role and Jake Gyllenhaal as Iago received rave reviews.

Reviews and Reactions

“Othello is SENSATIONAL!”

- Andrew N.

“All the acting was absolutely mesmerizing. It inspired me to explore Shakespeare’s works in their entirety.”

— Vicki

“Take your busted brain to one of these shows. Whatever minor resistance you might feel when meeting one of these plays IRL is totally worth enduring for the human adventure—from the intimate machinations of an individual soul to the tragic, ridiculous expanse of sociopolitical reality—that's waiting on the other side.”

— Alicia Chesser (The Pickup)

“I’m just blown away. The acting was amazing! I already want to buy the play and read it.”

– Julianna

“We loved it – well done!”

– Melanie C.
